Charlie is now beginning to understand certain words. For months now, we've worked on the word, "please." She knows the sign for that now and uses it occasionally. This is a video of her signing "please" for the very first time. She was 6 months.
She has also learned the word "gentle." This is for Jory's sake! She heads for the cat full speed just to hear me yell "gentle" not so gently. :) She stops and pets her nice and easy. I know Jory is very thankful for this milestone.
Last but not certainly not least, she has learned is learning the word "no." Of course, as a parent, I hate to not let her have every thing her little heart desires. *cough* However, there are times when her safety is at risk. Such times include, pulling a glass bowl off the shelf, reaching for electrical outlets, etc. Here are some photos I snapped after telling her "no." Poor little thing!
wait for it....
bless her little heart. :)
shortly after...we were laughing and playing again. it wasn't that bad.

oh I just loooove the "no" pictures. Too cute!
LOL! Those pitiful pictures of her pouting are priceless!
And I can't believe that that picture in the tub is real. The combination of her face and Jory's sneakiness is awesome.
BTW, "please" at 6 months = baby genius. :)
