Why I Oughta!!!!

This morning, I have been working on Charlie's curtains.  I bought a great curtain rod at Ross and headed home to start my project.  I got everything up and ready and headed upstairs to grab the camera.

Well, whatda know...I walked back in to this!

Our bengal, Jory, didn't want to be left out!  She has been dying to get in that bed.  Well, as soon as I left the room, she made her move.
JOR-Y!

I had to take pictures!
I'm sure this is a great indication of what kind of mom I'm going to be.  You know, the kind whose child has just rolled in the mud in their Sunday's best right before heading to church and the mom has to get the camera cause it's not the most convient thing their little one could have done before hopping in the car, but it's too funny not to get a snapshot of!
She proceeded to play with the mobile that took me ALL afternoon to make.

ok...little miss...no more playing.  Out you go!

Someone had a great idea.  They told me a friend of theirs put up a screen door to the nursery.  She said they had a cat and was afraid the kitty would sneak in and hop in bed with the baby during naptime, so mom just refinished an old screen door.  She said it was really pretty...had iron on it and everything.
Needless to say, after this incident, I'm on craigslist looking for a door!  :)

WAITAMINUTE!!!

Emily, I am cracking up! Seriously. Jory is an ornery little booger. She thought she was so sneaky. I wish I could have watched her jumping up to bat at the mobile. Haha. I'm so glad you snapped some pictures of it. (And that type of parenting style is A-OK with me.)

BTW, the curtains look fabulous. :)

The family I nannied for during college had a screen door to the nursery for their cats too! They loved it and said it worked fabulously! Then, it worked well when she was a toddler and wanted independence!

Great curtains!
