Saving the Heat for Winter Days...

I've gotten a head start on some winter projects.  Aren't you proud of me?  I just feel like I have a few weeks left before I dive into the 3rd trimester.  Don't get me wrong, it's not that bad, it's just everything takes twice as long to do!  I'm even slow at folding the laundry...ok, maybe that's a motivational problem, but you get my point.  I get very large and very sloooowwwww.

So, a nice warm coat for Charlie was top on my list.  I fell in love with the pink fabric from Textile Fabrics about a year ago but didn't buy it until it was half-off a yard.  :)

The pattern I used is from Heidi and Finn (love them!)

I decided not to do the bow in front...instead, I did a few ruffles and a snap.  Seemed to make a little more sense for Miss CJ.  Especially since now when you ask her to put her clothes on, she runs...fast!

I also made the coat reversible.  Two in one?  Yes, please!
