Sam and Linda drove out to Colorado, as they do every winter, to hit the slopes. They started sending us pictures, and I could tell, Charles wanted to be there! They hadn't had that much snow in a while. 12 inches one night. 8 the next....perfect powder.
Needless to say, between Linda and me, we got him out there!
He spent 4 1/2 good days out there. I'm telling you from experience, you have to be in shape to handle more than 2! :)

The snow storm was coming up behind them. He said when it came in, they couldn't see anything!

Not trying to be "that wife," but I think he looks pretty cool coming down those mountains! A lot cooler than I did when I went a few years ago. :)

Okay, the view from the cabin is breathtaking. I can see why they want to go there every year!
I can't believe how deep that snow is, though! I don't think I'd survive.
